On the 11 May The Deauville International Centre will welcome the General Assembly of the Groupama Company for the Central Manche Area, where over 700 people will be present. On this occasion, 8 regions will meet up: The Sarthe, Mayenne, Eure et Loire, Calvados, Seine Maritime, Eure, Manche and Orne.

Meeting with Florent Poittevin, General Secretary of Groupama for the Central Manche region:

Could you present the event to us?

FP: The Annual general assembly will take place on the 11th May. It is an event that will bring together between 700 and 800 people. The 2/3’s of the assembly are elected representatives that have been mandated to vote yearly resolutions at the general assembly. We are also uniting 120 colleagues and 100-150 guests from the Groupama network.

Sophie Jovillard, the presenter of ‘Echappées Belles’ will host this general assembly alongside Sylvie Le Dilly, Regional President and Pascal Loiseau, the General Director. The General Director of the group, Thierry Martel, will also be present and Daniel Collay, Vice-President of the group and President of the regional credit office Paris Val de Loire as well as the 8 other Presidents of departmental federations.

Which areas of the Deauville International Centre do you use?
FP: The Michel D’Ornano auditorium is used for the plenary meetings and the halls for the catering. We regularly use the CID, both for events such as the General Meeting but also for managerial meetings. It is a venue that we appreciate very much, and the services and the spaces meet all of our expectations. We are regular clients and that will not change.

What was your last event to take place at the Deauville International Centre ?
FP : The last time we met in Deauville was for a managers' meeting.
