Deauville, an innovative region

Deauville is a key player in a pilot project initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the G7 summit held in Biarritz in August 2019.


Known for its ambitions and environmental actions, Deauville is part of the 9 experimental territories selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will participate, via the C.I.D, in the ISO 20 121 certification scheme- Responsible International destinations. This action is unique and is based on a number of measures and commitments in favour of the protection of the planet.
