On the 21-22 August, The Deauville Congress Centre welcomed the Deauville Tattoo Festival where more than 200 French and Foreign tattoo artists were present. This renewal of activity at the CID, which was open to the general public, offered numerous activities (A beard and tattoo contest, concerts and a slapstick comedy show) as well as a competition of 1950’s cars.

Almost 9,000 people were present. This was the first event to have taken place since the introduction of the health passport. « It was the first public event where the health passport was needed. People want to come to these events », explains Carine Fouquier, the Director of the Deauville International Congress Centre. For this event, once each participant had been checked, it was possible to come and go without further controls. This system was much appreciated, both by the public and the exhibitors.
