The Deauville Congress Centre will be present at the Heavent Meetings in Cannes. We spoke to Pauline Decanter, Marketing Director of The Deauville International Centre.

The CID: soon to be at the Heavent Meeting in Cannes!

Heavent Meeting is a BtoB event. For the third year running, we will represent Deauville along with my colleague from the Barriere Group on the NORMANDIE stand l.34.

We will be accompanied by four other destinations in Normandy: Caen, Rouen, Bagnoles and Le Havre.

Normandy will be really honoured at this show because even the stand was designed and created by Bobazar, a Normandy company.

Could you tell us more about the main objectives of the Heavent Meeting?

It’s an event that brings together over 300 buyers. The goal is to present Deauville as a destination, ideal for congresses. It is also a great opportunity to meet up with others colleagues in the event organising industry and to discuss current issues with them: upcoming events, planning for the next months etc.

How is the event organised?

The event takes place over three days. The buyers arrive on the Tuesday and are welcomed with an evening cocktail. Wednesday and Thursday are dedicated to one on one meetings (around 20 a day).

What type of public are you expecting?

It is important to know that the buyers and agencies are not only French, but also European. We are also expecting buyers from Spain, Luxembourg, and Britain.
