The CFE-CGC chose the C.I.D to organise their congress. This Union Management Congress is organised every 3 years and brought together 1300 delegates from the 8th to 10th October 2019.
- The C.I.D was entirely privatised for the event, the congress needing 18000 m2 to be carried out smoothly. Were the spaces functional and adapted to the number of delegates ?
The venue is pleasant and easy to find. The team appreciated the simplicity of use of the various spaces. The Congress Centre corresponds perfectly to the size of an event such as ours.
- Could you say a few words about the accommodation arrangements. Was it easy to get to the Congress Centre each morning ?
So far, Deauville represents the best destination for the organisation of our event. It has an undeniable advantage: Deauville is a reasonably sized town and participants can find their way around easily during their free time. We had the impression that we were staying in a large village, which was very pleasant. The hotels, the CID, the restaurants and the town centre are all central and easily accessible by foot.
- The delegates were able to discover the resort during their evenings.
The restaurants in Deauville were informed beforehand by the C.I.D and were able to anticipate the number of delegates. They appreciated the warm welcome, and some went to play in the Casino.
