Could you present your company and the concept behind the event?
Standings Events is a professional event organising company specialising in the hairdressing and beauty sectors. We organise events such as Mondial Coiffure Beauté in Paris which welcomes 350 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors and the Beauté Selection Show in Lyon which welcomes 270 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors. There are also regional shows, for example in Nantes which takes place every two years.
We are looking to offer something more intimate that is dedicated to a specific public, and so we have introduced the concept of BS Congress which brings together the managers of the various structures. This event is dedicated to the top decision-makers.
How is the event organised?
We organise the event with the delegates and the brands.
The delegates inform us of their expectations whilst the brands define their targets in relation to their products. This allows us to create meetings. A conference programme based on different innovations is also organised which allows delegates to switch between meetings and conferences.
Where do you organise your events?
We organise events in Paris, Deauville, Nantes, Lyon and soon in Cannes.
Why did you choose the CID?
We privilege towns such as Deauville because they have easy access, our main decision-makers being situated in Paris. Deauville is also very welcoming and that is an important point for our delegates. We have been organising the BS Congress at the Deauville International Centre for three years now and it is a real success because the participants appreciate the fact that everything is accessible by foot, it’s quick to get from the hotel to the CID and we have had much positive feedback.
What area in the CID do you use?
We use the “Hall 1 Tennis” which can be perfectly adapted to our needs and allows us to organise meeting places and conferences in the same area. This is an advantage for our event because it encourages exchanges and friendly interaction.
How many delegates do you welcome?
We welcome 270 people including the brands that are represented. See you in June for the next edition !
