Deauville, a city on foot

Deauville was originally a village of less than 4,000 inhabitants, located in the heart of Normandy. Over the years, the seaside resort has acquired infrastructures worthy of a metropolis: convention center, casino, racetrack, thalasso, 2,200 hotel rooms, automobile circuit, cultural center, Olympic swimming pool, tennis, international horse center, golf courses, airport, train station, ports... All these infrastructures are gathered on 4Km², quickly accessible by foot, to favor soft mobility during all your events.

The con­ven­tion cen­ter works daily to lim­it its car­bon foot­print. The events teams integ­rate sus­tain­able devel­op­ment into the heart of their strategy. The CID has been awar­ded the ISO 20 121 label and is a major play­er in the “Sus­tain­able Innov­at­ive Des­tin­a­tion” label for Deauville.

Deauville American Film Festival

Cinema is the DNA of the CID Deauville. Inaugurated in 1992 by Clint Eastwood, the Convention Center is co-organizer of one of the biggest cinema events: The Deauville American Film Festival. This 10-day event brings together film enthusiasts, celebrities and guests every evening: The CID Deauville is proud to have you participate in this event that grows year after year.
