Deauville, the Epicentre of Normandy’s Dynamism: The University of Entrepreneurs (UEN) at the CID
The Deauville International Centre (CID) is not content to be merely a prestigious venue; during the University of Normandy Entrepreneurs (UEN), it is transformed into a veritable laboratory of ideas and networking for the entire regional economic fabric.
8th edition on 4 November 2025
this day is already an unmissable event that demonstrates the strength and dynamism of Normandy’s entrepreneurs. Every year, more than 1,300 business leaders converge on this exceptional setting to find inspiration and develop new business opportunities.
The event is organised thanks to the association of 40 major partners in Normandy’s economic life, under the coordination of MEDEF Normandie, which has been proud to bring these players together around a common project since 2018.
The day at the CID is designed to maximise exchange and learning, starting at 8.15 am when the doors open, allowing participants to enjoy a convivial breakfast. The official launch of the 8th edition is scheduled for 9.15 am, with renowned personalities such as Jean-Philippe Daull and Laurence Devillairs.
Starting at 9:30 a.m., the auditorium will host an intense series of four conferences presented by exceptional speakers. These presentations aim to share experiences, advice and visions of the world of entrepreneurship. Lunch, at 12:30 p.m., is more than just a break; it is a key networking opportunity held at the Engie Business Space. It is the ideal opportunity to talk with the many participants and meet the speakers in person.
The afternoon, starting at 2:00 p.m., is devoted to practical application and personalisation of the experience: participants can choose from nine different themed workshops. The programme resumes its plenary format at 3.30 p.m. in the auditorium, with a new series of three conferences. Notable speakers for this afternoon session include Carole André, Thierry Watelet and Jean-Baptiste Quiclet.
The day ends at the Deauville Convention Center at 6:00 p.m. with the closing ceremony and a summary of the rich exchanges and lessons learned. Those who wish to continue the dialogue are invited to attend the official dinner, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Pavillon des Bains, in the presence of Hervé Morin.
The UEN, anchored in the prestigious setting of the CID, is much more than just a series of speeches.
It is the annual driving force where inspiration is transformed into action, where different perspectives fuel innovation.
